Abstract

A heat-sensitive thermal transfer recording sheet having a heat-sensitive color-forming layer formed on a front side of a substrate and a thermal transfer layer formed on the back side of the substrate and comprising (a) an aromatic isocyanate compound and (b) an imino compound and (c) a low melting point substance such as wax has a white background and excellent image storability. By adding an electron donating colorless dye and an electron-accepting compound to the thermal transfer layer, the transfer density can be improved.
