Abstract

A process and apparatus for job control of servicing elements at a spinning installation with a plurality of servicing points, wherein existing servicing cases are detected and analyzed for correction control by a central control unit. Existing servicing cases are automatically detected separately according to number and correction requirement and, depending on number and degree of difficulty of the sevicing cases detected, a job instruction signal of one of at least two signal stages is transmitted to a corresponding associated servicing element according to a predetermined ranking of the servicing elements. The apparatus has a summing device for summing existing servicing cases, a comparator for comparing the sum of existing servicing cases with a preset number of servicing cases, and at least one indicator connected with both the comparator and the detector, the indicator being capable of at least two indication stages as a function of the servicing element required for correcting the servicing cases detected.
