Abstract

A novel polymer having repeating units of the formula: ##STR1## (wherein R.sub.1 stands for a hydrogen atom or a methyl group) is produced by polymerizing N-tetrahydrofurfuryl acrylamide or N-tetrahydrofurfuryl methacrylamide. This is a hydrophilic-hydrophobic thermally reversible type polymer.
