Abstract
A non-rotatary wobble plate is mounted on a plate which is pivotally mounted on a drive shaft in a manner that the orientation of the wobble plate and the driven plate can be varied. A thrust bearing is provided to accommodate the relative movement between the two plates and a spring, in the form of a plate spring, is provided to constantly bias the wobble plate against the thrust bearing so that noise and the like are not generated during high speed rotation of the driven plate.
