Bicyclic aliphatic alcohols or formula ##STR1## wherein substituents CH.sub.2 OH and CH.sub.3 are geminally bound to the carbon atom in position 2 or 3 of the hexanic ring and wherein the wavy line stands for a C-H bond of cis or trans configuration. Use of same as perfuming ingredients.
