Abstract
An N-(hydroxyphenyl)maleimide-isobutylene copolymer having the following repeating units: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.3 is a halogen atom or a lower alkyl group having 1-5 carbon atoms; l, m and n are numbers satisfying conditions of 0.01<n/(l+m).ltoreq.10 and 0.2<l/(l+m).ltoreq.1; and p is an integer of 0-4.
