Abstract
The present invention provides 1-methylhydantoinase, which hydrolyses 1-methylhydantoin in the presence of a nucleoside triphosphate and of polyvalent metal ions. The present invention also provides a process for obtaining 1-methylhydantoinase and a reagent containing it.
