Abstract
A high temperature-resistant nickel-base alloy adapted for use in turbine nozzle components contains carefully balanced amounts of aluminum and titanium to render the alloy repair weldable. The levels of carbon and zirconium are also carefully controlled to improve the castability of the alloy so that large turbine components may be cast without hot tearing or microshrinkage.
