Abstract

Incorporation of boric acid or a salt thereof in an aqueous preparation containing cefmenoxime or a salt thereof is effective in the prevention of coloration of the preparation. Therefore, cefmenoxime and its salts can be used as aqueous ophthalmic, otic or nasal drugs for topical application.
