Abstract
To permit connection of a high temperature resistant plastic material forg a bulb holder element (4, 15, 20) to which a light bulb (1, 14, 19) is attached in the tubular opening of the base structure (5, 16), the bulb holder element is essentially barrel-shaped to permit alignment of the bulb with respect to the base structure, and subsequent connection by welding together the plastic base structure with the plastic bulb holder element by exposure to a high-frequency field. To cause melting of the plastic, ferromagnetic material, typically a nickel-iron alloy, is located between the bulb holder element and the base structure, for example in form of a ring (11) snapped into a groove (12) formed on the holder element.
