Abstract
A miniature relay (1) capable of switching high currents combines the armature spring function with that of at least one (72, 73) movable contact. One end (71) of the spring is attached to the core (3) while the other end (75) is movable and attached to the armature (75) in the vicinity of the working air gap (36). Variously shaped springs are utilized to support the movable contact and mechanically bias the armature to maintain the working air gap.
