Abstract
This invention relates to a process for sealing an anodized aluminum surface by contacting the surface with an aqueous acidic sealing solution having dissolved therein zirconium and/or titanium and dissolved fluoride, said solution preferably including dissolved silicate and/or a dissolved thiourea compound, and including optionally a sealing auxiliary, the process being carried out at a temperature of no greater than about 40.degree. C.
