Abstract
A novel polyprenyl compound is identified with the formula and useful for a pharmaceutical drag. ##STR1## wherein X represents a group of the formula: ##STR2## (wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, which may be the same or differnt, represent each a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a hydroxyalkyl group, or a lower alkenyl group); a group of the formula: ##STR3## (wherein A including the nitrogen atom shown represents a ring containing nitrogen and oxygen atoms); or a group of the formula: ##STR4## (wherein R.sup.3 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, and R.sup.4 represents a lower alkyl group); Y represents a group of the formula: ##STR5## or a group of the formula: ##STR6## (wherein R.sup.5 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group), and n represents an integer of from 2 to 5.
