Abstract
A camera having a reading device for reading a so-called DX code pattern provided on a film container is provided with means for detecting two specific pattern parts consecutively located within the DX code pattern and for determining and indicating whether the film is contained in a film container having the DX code or whether the DX code is accurately read out.
