Abstract
Prostaglandin derivatives, and specifically derivatives of isocarbacyclin, have an optionally substituted methylene group as a substituent on the .alpha.-carbon atom of the .alpha.-side chain. They have a variety of physiological effects, notably a strong ability to inhibit blood platelet aggregation and a strong anti-ulcer activity.
