Abstract

A color display panel comprising a plurality of picture elements arranged in a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns, and a plurality of driving lines disposed substantially along columns of picture elements, each picture element forming a color picture element selected from red picture elements, green picture elements and blue picture elements. Two or three types of color picture elements selected from the red, green and blue picture elements are arranged in a column, and each type of color picture elements among the two or three types of color picture elements arranged in a column are commonly connected to a driving line.
