Abstract

An incremental optical code reader of the wholly integrated type including a reading assembly, a pair of photodiodes, a differential amplifier receiving the outputs of the photodiodes and a trigger connected to the output of the amplifier. An electronic assembly with 'exclusive OR' logic gates, AND logic gates and OR logic gates, receiving the outputs of the triggers for the channels and feeding into the outputs.
