Abstract

Compounds of formula: ##STR1## and stereoisomers thereof, wherein R.sup.1 is unsubstituted or substituted aryl or heteroaryl; R.sup.2 is H, alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl; X is O, NH, or S; R.sup.3 being alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or COR.sup.4 where R.sup.4 has an R.sup.3 value, when X is O; R.sup.3 being --CO-- alkyl when X is NH; and R.sup.3 being alkyl, alkenyl or CSNR.sup.5 R.sup.6 where R.sup.5 and R.sup.6, which may be the same or different, are H, alkyl, alkenyl or, together with the adjacent N atom, constitute a ring, when X is S; or XR.sup.3 together represent --CN; and salts and metal complexes thereof, have fungicidal and plant growth regulating activity.
