Abstract
A house wrap consists of a three-layer, semi-permeable, nonwoven laminate. The two exterior layers are spun-bond polypropylene having a melt flow of 35 grams per ten minutes at 230.degree. C. The interior layer is a two-component melt-blown layer of polyethylene and polypropylene. The polypropylene has a melt flow of 260 and the polyethylene has a melt flow of 350. The laminate is calendered after formation so that the polyethylene melts and flows to close up the interstitial space and to bond the layers together to create a strong semi-permeable laminate.
