Abstract

A method of assembling a switch and terminal assembly with an end frame of a dynamoelectric machine. In this method, a casing of the switch and terminal assembly is arranged in an assembly position on the end frame, and a separate ground terminal is associated with the casing so as to be arranged generally in row formation with an electrical connection section of at least some of the terminals of the switch and terminal assembly. The ground terminal is then secured in ground circuit relations with the end frame.
