Abstract

A composition for regulating the growth of plants which comprises as active ingredients an effective amount of (E)-1-(4-chlorophenyl)-4,4-dimethyl-2-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-1-pentene-3-ol and one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of 2-chloro-4,6-bis(ethylamino)-s-triazine, 2-chloro-4-ethylamino-6-isopropylamino-s-triazine and a phenoxyacetic acid type compound represented by the formula, ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a chlorine atom or methyl group, and R.sub.2 represents a carboxymethyl, carboxyethyl or carboxypropyl group, and an inert carrier.
