Abstract

A compound of formula I: ##STR1## or a solvate or salt thereof in which: R is an acyl group containing a substituted or unsubstituted carbocyclic or heterocyclic aromatic ring and R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are independently C.sub.1-6 alkyl groups or together form a C.sub.3-6 polymethylene or alkenylene group, is useful for treating pain in mammals.
