Abstract

An electrophotographic photoreceptor according to this invention has an electrically conductive support, a charge-generation layer, a charge-transport layer and a protective layer which consists essentially of a thermo-setting silicone resin and a polyvinyl acetal resin. The electrophotographic photoreceptor according to this invention has improved durability in repeated copying operations due to the inclusion of the polyvinyl acetal resin into the protective layer.
