Abstract
The instant invention relates to a process and apparatus for treating wastewater containing bentazon by decomposing the bentazon therein and thus eliminating or substantially reducing the bentazon content. This process comprises adjusting the pH of the wastewater to a value of less than 7 and heating it to a temperature of at least about 60.degree. C.
