Abstract
A perfume composition is disclosed, containing methyl l-3,7-dimethyl-7-hydroxyoctylideneanthranilate of the following formula (I): ##STR1## The perfume composition of the invention is less allergenic and safer than those containing the corresponding d- or dl-form. Further, the perfume composition has a less irritating odor and imparts a clean and green note.
