Abstract
A flame retardant polycarbonate composition, comprising in admixture: an aromatic polycarbonate resin, an ortho-methyl substituted aromatic dihydroxy compound, and an additional flame retardant additive, said ortho-methyl substituted aromatic dihydroxy compound and said additional flame retardant additive being present in an amount sufficient to improve the flame retardant properties of said aromatic polycarbonate resin.
