Abstract

There is provided with the present invention a new process for up-grading products resulting from the steam-cracking of hydrocarbons which comprises bringing the steam-cracking reaction products in contact with a catalyst comprising a mixture of from 2.5 to 7.5% wt of Cr.sub.2 O.sub.3, 5 to 17.5% wt of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 and 75 to 85% wt of a Zn-ZSM-5 zeolite or a Zn-ZSM-5 zeolite/asbestos and recovering the desired products.
