Abstract

Coating compositions which are capable of curing at room temperature comprise (i) a condensation polymer in which the polymer backbone contains at least one grouping of the formula --CO--C(R).dbd.C(R)--CO--, where R is hydrogen, a halogen or an alkyl or aryl group, and (ii) a compound carrying at least three primary amine or thiol groups. The compositions are of particular interest as undercoats in the automobile refinish trade.
