Abstract

The present invention is directed to a frame (10) for releasably framing articles, such as pictures, photographs, posters and menus. The frame comprises a plurality of elongate members (12, 14, 16, 18) having mitred ends mated together, and a tensible loop (20) wherein the loop is located in a continuous recess (28) formed, on assembly of the frame, by the alignment of sub-recesses (27) located along the length of each member, and wherein the loop is in tension around the frame so as to pull the members together.
