Abstract
The invention relates to polymers and oligomers characterized in that they have been prepared from .alpha.-olefin monomers or mixtures thereof and the distances between the methyl branching points are controllable by the selection of the .alpha.-olefins and to a process for preparing said novel polymers and oligomers.
