Abstract

There are provided acetylenecarbamide derivatives of the formula: ##STR1## wherein A represents ##STR2## in which R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl group, and R.sub.2 represents a C.sub.2 -C.sub.9 alkyl group. These derivatives are useful as stabilizers for polymeric organic substances susceptible to thermal and oxygen-induced degradation.
