Abstract
A heat-sensitive recording material excellent in stability of recorded images is disclosed, which comprises a support having formed thereon a heat-sensitive recording layer comprising a colorless or pale-colored basic dye and a color developer capable of forming a color upon coming into contact with the basic dye, wherein said heat-sensitive recording layer further comprises at least one compound selected from the compounds represented by following formulae (I) and (II): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.7, and R.sub.8 independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
