Abstract
A toy telephone having a base, a dial connected to the base and noise generating means within the base actuatable by the dial, characterized in that the dial is connected to the base for both rotary and axial motion relative to the base and the noise generating means within the base is actuatable to generate one noise upon rotary actuation and a different noise upon axial actuation of the dial.
