Abstract
The present invention comprises a high density, moisture resistant, high temperature stable mica laminate. Said laminate comprises a plurality of mica papers, impregnated with a polysiloxane binder containing a titanate and naphthenate. A process of preparing said mica laminates is also disclosed. The laminates of this invention have exceptional structural qualities, moisture resistance, stain resistance, and densities of 1.5 g/cc or greater.
