Abstract

This invention relates to bicyclic catechol derivatives having the general formulae I and II ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and Z represent various substituents, to a preparation process of the same comprising reacting a compound of formula III ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 have the meanings given above with an appropriately substituted propionic or butyric acid (or an ester or a salt of the same) of formula IV ##STR3## wherein R.sub.3 has the meaning given above, and to therapeutical compositions wherein the active ingredient is one of these compounds.
