Abstract
This invention relates to a process for producing aromatic hydrocarbons from a feedstock containing a major proportion of methane. The feedstock, in the vapor phase and in the absence of oxygen, is brought into contact with an aluminosilicate at a temperature from 650.degree. C.-800.degree. C. The feedstock may optionally contain ethane.
