Abstract

A highly sensitive thermal recording material excellent in response to heat is obtained by incorporating as a sensitizer at least one compound into a thermal printing material comprising a usually colorless or light-colored dye precursor and a developer which reacts with each other to develop color on heating, said compound being selected from the following compounds represented by the following general formulas (I), (II) and (III): ##STR1##
