Abstract
Color sheets for thermal transfer printing comprise a substrate having a colorant layer on one side of the substrate and a resin layer formed on one side of the substrate and a resin layer formed on the other side of the substrate, the resin layer being made of a resin composition comprising fine particles and a lubricating material dispersed in a binder resin. The resin layer is made rough on the surface there of due to the presence of the fine particles whereby the color sheets do not stick to thermal heads and the resulting images are free of dropout defects and good in quality.
