Abstract
A process for inhibiting the corrosion of ferrous metals in aqueous acidic or briny media comprising the step of adding a composition of the formula ##STR1## where R.sub.1 is a hydrocarbon group, O is a pyridine or substituted pyridine, and X is an anion.
