Abstract
A compound having the general formula (I): ##STR1## and stereoisomers thereof, wherein W is CH or N; Q is optionally substituted aryl, optionally substituted aralkyl, or alkyl; R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, R.sup.7, and R.sup.8, which may be the same or different, are H, hydroxy, alkyl, cycloalkyl, optionally substituted aralkyl, or optionally substituted phenyl, or any of the pairs R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 ; R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 ; R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 ; or R.sup.7 and R.sup.8 can, together with the adjacent ring carbon atom, represent a carbonyl group (C.dbd.O); R.sup.9 and R.sup.10 which may be the same or different, are H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, optionally substituted aralkyl, or optionally substituted phenyl; n is 0 or 1; and acid salts and metal complexes thereof. The compounds have plant growth regulating and fungicidal activity.
