Abstract
The invention relates to omega-(2',4'-dihalobiphenylyl)oxo alkanoic acids of Formula: ##STR1## wherein X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 each represent a fluorine or chlorine atom and Y represents a bivalent hydrocarbon chain selected from the group consisting of --CH.sub.2 --CH--CH.sub.3 and (CH.sub.2).sub.3, and to a process for their preparation. The compounds of the invention are highly active and longlasting anti-inflammatory agents.
