Abstract
The present invention relates to a photoelectric transducer element comprising a light-transmissive front electrode, a photo-active layer and a back electrode, characterized in that said photo-active layer contains an azo compound expressed by the general formula (I), ##STR1## wherein A represents a coupler residue.
