Abstract
There is disclosed a composition for the local treatment of acne containing from 0.5 to 20% by weight of benzoyl peroxide in association with at least one sun filter that is benzylidenecamphor and its derivatives, 2-phenylbenzimidazole-5-sulfonic acid and its salts, 2-hydroxybenzenophenone and its derivatives, C.sub.2 -C.sub.12 alkyl p-dimethylaminobenzoates, salicylic acid esters, dibenzoylmethane derivatives and cinnamic acid derivatives.
