Abstract
The present invention relates to a class of novel substituted alkyl imidazole compounds that are useful as anti-anaerobic agents. The present invention further relates to pharmaceutical compositions that contain such compounds and are also useful as anti-anaerobic agents. The compounds are of the formula ##STR1## wherein A, R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and n are defined hereinbelow.
