Abstract
New coupling or shading (nuance) components are described which in combination with pertinent developers are used for dyeing of hair. These coupling components are dinitropyridine derivatives of the general formula: ##STR1## whereby the substituents X, Y, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 have the meaning given.
