Abstract
Penicillin or related substances are added during the course of the cultivation of a streptococcus to recover SPF-100 from the culture broth. SPF-100 exhibits a broad range of molecular weight and may be classified into SPF-1 and SPF-2. SPF-100 has a direct cancericidal effect and an immunoactivation effect.
