Abstract
A coating composition, which is excellent in abrasion resistance, comprises spherical .alpha.-alumina particles, a binder and a solvent, in which said spherical .alpha.-alumina particles are contained in an amount of from 35 to 85% by weight of the solid content in the coating composition.
