Abstract

A novel phospholipid of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is an alkyl group of 10 to 24 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 is a cyclic imide group and A.sup.+ is a cyclic ammonio group and a salt thereof have platelet activating factor inhibiting activity and are useful for prevention and treatment of circulatory disorders and allergic bronchial asthma.
