Abstract
A 5,6,7,8-tetrafluoroanthraquinone derivative represented by the general formula I: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently stand for --OH or ##STR2## (where R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 independently stand for hydrogen an alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a phenyl) and X and Y independently hydrogen atom or a halogen atom.
