Abstract

2-chloro-4-trifluoromethyl-5-thiazolecarbothioic acid derivatives having the formula ##STR1## where R is C.sub.1-5 alkyl, phenyl or benzyl, have been found to be effective in reducing herbicidal injury to grain sorghum caused by the application thereto of a 2-haloacetanilide herbicide, especially, alachlor.
